At what temp levels should my radiator fan kick in? Im finding it doesnt kick in til just over 1/2. Is that normal or should it kick in at a lower temp also?

How would i get it to kick in sooner? As my car gets close to over heating due to this?

Test the cts or replace it as it's a $20 part, i'd lean towards this being faulty and sending the incorrect temp to the ecu/pcm.
Unless the rest of the cooling system isn't in good condition causing it (blocked radiator, seized thermostat etc etc).
Only way to change this is in the memcal with a retune, below is an image showing the temp controls in the programing.

I can confirm that the vr and vs models would not cut in until the half way mark so your fan is working if its getting ove 3 quarters then you have a problem look at flushing the system and putting fresh fluids in then if it gets hot after that loosen the screw near the thermostat to make sure there aren't any air locks and if it gets hot after that start with a new thermostat then maybe water pump after that but start basic and see how you go also make sure that the overflow reservoir has coolant in it other wise when it gets hot it will be sucking air into the radiator instead of coolant

sorry but when it's hot the coolant expands and fills the res, the res's job is that when the engine cools down and the coolant contracts, fluid from the res is sucked back into the system instead of air.

Run the vehicle in your shed until it gets up to temperate and check for leaks, if no external leaks can be found, look under your dash at your heater core and see if you can find any coolant in that area. If still no coolant in that area, then remove spark plugs one by one and see if any are wet. If you can get your hands on a radiator pressure tester, it would be much better..
