Hi all,
I am using Haynes repair manual as a guide and I am doing a Cooling system flush on my VT 5.0ltr V8.
The manual mentions bleeder screws for the V6 but none for the V8. It also mentions how to take the reservoir bottle out but the instructions must also be for the V6. I am ready to fill with coolant now and want to know how to bleed the system or if it's even needed on the V8.
I am going to fill through the top radiator hose. How many ltrs of pre mixed coolant should it take?
When I think it is full I was going to turn the motor on with all hoses attached and leave the radiator cap off to top up and check for bubbles. Does this sound right?
