Ended up going with these VF rims.. i originally wanted 18s to give a slightly smoother ride. but these looked much nicer then the 18s i was looking at.

will get them machined and fitted up with some new rubber over the next few weeks

yeah not sure what happened with the link. I installed the first prototype in my ute 3 years ago and hasn't missed a beat. i love it and use it every time it rains. I never did get boards made to resell this project. not sure about the demand.
