I still can't see the point of a rear mount turbo

He thinks the cops won't be able to tell that he is driving a high powered car while on P plates.

how far back is the turbo gonna be? I mean won't the exhaust gases be way too cold by then?

I dont get it... if they really need to P platers should just get a diff with 3.9 gears (can also use it later on when upgrading to V8 or whatever) 1.9 rockers, run 98 octane fuel and get a custom remote tune done... that might get it going almost like a stock L67 already lol

Soo many negative Nancy's. Rear mount turbo aka remote mount turbo are proven & are as reliable and make the same amount of power and in some cases more due to lower intake temps & engine bay temps etc.

However the selection of the correct exhaust housings take a bit of research & the oil cooling loop/scavange pump setup can be a little bit of a pain.

Cheers
Mat
