Recommend me some metal bands

Thought that slipknot was abit of a gimmick, with the masks and that, but after seeing them at soundwave, they were bloody good and you could understand what they wre singing. porbably the second best band I saw there, after MACHINE HEAD of course. Have a look at Steel Panther - a take the piss band, but sound bloody good, also kick arse at soundwave. A couple that havent been mentioned above, AC DC - not really metal, but more rock, a small aussie band you may have heard off, Airborne - very similar to AC DC, Def Leapard, . . . .

I have Pudding Time as my ringtone haha. My 5 year old son loves that song, sings along when I play it.
