VR Senator Replica (VR Executive) fully swapped.
Apologies if this has been asked and I have missed the original, just curious what all needs undoing to remove intake on a 304, I have taken off all of the bolts that seem to hold it in, as well as removed fuel rail etc. if there something I am missing or do I just need to beat it with a Mallot a little to loosen it up?

Cheers

A few smacks of the manifold with a rubber mallet should get it.

I've seen some people go heavy on the RTV to the point I've needed a crowbar and a mallet.

Yeah, normally after a few decades been bolted down it needs a bit of persuasion.

It'll have RTV around the water jackets and front/rear manifold to valley seals.
I would sneak a good flatblade screwdriver between Mani and valley and gently pry it upwards with care not to damage the block or manifold.
