I just bought a new head unit for my VT Calais. I have searched the forums with not much luck so I was wondering if any one could help me out with some tips on how to remove the old double din head unit as I have tried but couldn't really work it out. It has the 4 holes, 2 on each side which I thought were screw holes, but it doesn't seem like they are. Any help on removing and installing would be appreciated.

Cheers

You didn't quite look hard enough mate ;) I've answered this question hald a dozen times in this forum....lol

Using two peices of coathanger wire, bend them into a U shape to form a "handle" poke them inside the holes and then lean them out slightly as you pull towards you....easy done...quick! go grab a coathanger and you will see what I mean...less then 60 secs.
