Guys- replacing the VN item with a VT job so that I have the extra length to run under the guards.

What is the best way of removing the lever? Is it just a matter of ripping it off or are there hidden screws etc?

think the lever slides onto a bracket in a clip or plug style configuration. you just have to get a screwdriver or something in there to depress or lift a plastic tab and slide it out...

Dont be gental, i pull mine to hard and it falls out. I think it comes out when the level is pulled all the way up to.
