removing burnout rubber

just wondeing if anyone knows how to remove rubber from the inner guards and outer guaeds that is really thick and i mean thick i have tried soaking it in wd 40 and tar remover and even chisiling it off but without much success so any help would be really good.thanks

dont know but when it is clean and you plan on doing a heap of burnouts, go buy some Lanolin oil/spray and coat the inner gaurds and quarters.
should stop the rubber from sticking.
we use it for 4wd'ing to help keep the mud to a minimum and also helps keep the salt off everything.
mind you, we coat the whole underside, not just the inner gaurds.

i've heard an oxy will remove it but it might take some paint as well. best ask your mates what they use.

thats the first thing cops check when pulling you over these days on worked cars, look under guards for rubber then give u a canary!
