removing headunit VX

hey, im sure this has been asked before, but i couldn't seem to find it using search.

im wondering how you remove the stock headunit from a VX?

there are tools on ebay, failing that long thin nails inserted into the 4 small holes in the corners of the unit and it will slide out

i used an old coat hanger to create two 'U' shapes. There should be two holes on each side. Slide the 'U' shape tools you just made into it and it should just slide out.

do they all need to done at the same time or can u do them individually?
also, how long are we talking with these nails?

bout 3 to 4" nails. all need to be done at the same time.

once u get the unit out u can see y there are small hooks holding the unit in and by putting the nails etc into the holes you are pushing the clips back so u can slide the unit out

I found that the coat hanger trick is the best method
