Removing stereo system VU

Hi guys,I'm hoping this is in the correct spot (it was a toss up between here and the wiring thread). I am wanting to remove the stereo completely in my ute, and wanting to know is it just a simple removal, or is there more to it?

Its just a case of removing the HU by using a special tool or cutting a coat hanger into 4 pieces and pushing one in each hole in the facia , pulling the hu forward, remove the antenna plug and loom connection .
