remove the shocky from the diff then remove the lower arm of the diff side and the spring should fall out.

Im guessing live axle?

Drop the bolt out of the lower control arm, support it with a jack and then let the jack down.

And ofcourse you cant pull them out by hand. They would fall out otherwise.

with the body on stands and a jack under the diff take the shocks and panhard rod off the diff and let the jack down a bit and the springs will fall out (maybe I haven't seen a standed spring for a while) the last few I've seen I've put the short lowered shock in to stop the springs from falling out.
