Hi guys,

I just bought some new speakers for my car and am having some "fun" removing the front door covers! Ive got everything removed (arm rest, window winder, etc), except for the actual door locks, and i cant for the life of me see how they detach.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

to remove the door locks you need something pointy and sharp. You need to pic out the orange tabs on the lock. These will need to be replaced if you really make a mess of it. Mine just have a little groove where i have pull them out with a knife. These poop out towards you so try and angle the knife behind the tab. ;)

Yeah they're pretty annoying, I just use a small screwdriver.

From memory on mine the left hand side has a little notch where you can get something in a bit better, so for me it's easier on to get them off from that side.

remove all the screws holding the skin onto the interior ontot he door, remove the window winder, remove arm rest, remove aircon vents, remove orange door lock and undo screw then by memory you just pull it off because clips hold it on after that.

Hope that helps, ive enver actually done it, watched the guy who fixed my deadlock pull it apart :)
