Removing VT Headlights!

Hey people :) can anyone give me a quick guide on how to remove VT headlights?, i gave it a go but it seems tricky :(

i want to clean them... also does anyone know if its possible to pull them apart to clean on the inside?

I assume you have removed the fron bumper.
If not you will need to do this first.

You can pull them apart to clean them. There are metal clips that hold the glass part on, be careful not to chip the glass when removing the clips. You should also be careful with the reflective coating, I once wash mine with just soapy water and a sponge and ended up with tiny scratches all over them, so I would only rinse them with water.

how many clips should there be ive removed two clips and its not pullin apart

Hey mate, with the VT, you can't remove the front glass/plastic on the headlights. The clear part is glued to the headlight, you can't simply unclip it.

Why do you want to pull it apart? To clean?

That thread was 6 years ago, I didn't know any better, in earlier models you could remove the glass.
How's the vision with your new lights by the way?

You can pull them apart by heating them in an oven to melt the glue but you need to be careful. I've seen how to's on you tube that you might want to check out.

I pulled mine apart a while ago, i just used a heat gun and pried them apart.
