So, if i get a VE/VF 18" rim and my rims are 19" - is that illegal to have one 18" rim fitted in an emergency?

Whilst it is correct what the RACQ website says, not being illegal to have different tread pattern tyres on each corner, it is fine if the different tread patterns are on the rear....On the front, it is preferable to have the same tread pattern, so the water dispurses evenly in the wet, which helps with the control of a vehicle

Don't think so......as long as it has a tyre on the 18" which is the same overall size as the 19"
My Crewman, 17" alloys and 16" steely ...... our Territory 18" alloys and 17" steely .... factory supplied with overall matching size tyre.
