Replacing Boot Gas Struts on '05 VZ Wagon

Is it just a matter of pulling the old ones off and pushing the new ones on?

Struts just pop off, do one at a time and make sure door does not fall on you.

Yes, ideally have a second person to hold the boot up.
Strut replacement initially scared me until I watched my neighbour do it on his VP Commodore; remove the clips, wiggle the ball-into-socket on each end and re-attach the clips. Looked simple enough. I then did the replacement on my own Lexcen CSi (VP Commodore wagon-X). No problems at all.
