Hi all, replacing the stereo in my VX. I cant find all the wiring details online. im 'assuming' the maroon round plug is for the steering wheel controls, the larger wired white plug for speakers ground wire aerial etc and the smaller wired plug (purple/black, brown, orange/black, black/white)? ive fitted basic stereos before (simple cd headset) without woofers, but wanted to give this ago (fitting my old pioneer minitrax instead), money is tight. Any clues would be ace.

See if you can get an adaptor harness for the stereo you are fitting that way you dont end up butchering the wiring...plug and play is always easier ...they are not that expensive...supacheep etc

Don’t be ham fisted and go cutting plugs. That stuff is a relic of the 80’s and 90’s.

There are adaptor harnesses now.
