Respraying Fuel Door On VX

Something may be worth checking out. Found a guy who 3D print manufactures the hinge for the fuel flap. Supplies it with glue and instructions. In Sydney from memory.

Thanks, I actually repaired one before via that method, lasted years but sadly it broke. My current one is fine though and works perfectly. I was just getting info on respraying it. Ended up buy all the primer, base and clear and did it all myself, came up really good and I have put it back on my car, matches nicely too.

He's on ebay and he's sold a metric sh1ttonne of the things. Can't imagine why...

Simply scuff the adhesion areas and superglue the brace in place. This is designed to increase the surface area to re attach the door to the hinge, if the door was broken off. The more preperation in scuffing the adhesion surface, the better the adhesion.
