Haha yeah it was the day after. I was too sore to crawl underneath to properly inspect prior to purchase.

I originally wanted the car for my wife when I first saw it but he wanted 1200 for it. A couple weeks later and I stole it for less than half of that.

Tempted to keep as daily and retire the ute to weekends and bigger faster mods

Vr s pac - Ended up giving half the car a bit of a polish (wax on, wax off style) and the paint came up extremely well. Little to no fade to anything but the roof and boot bobtail.

Put on spare with new tyre on rear left with new vx calipers and rotors. Painted inner wheel arch black. Looks brand new with new suspension.

Cleaned rims - all 5 are immaculate originals with no gutter rash.

Found hole in rocker cover but went over engine bay all over and everything is in great order.

Shiny -

Long time between updates!

Bought and sold s pac then got side tracked modifying wife's forester.

Just bought a Vy acclaim as a daily for the wife and I and plan to put the ute back on the road asap.

Acclaim has stainless exhaust, extractors, growler and bigger throttle body, plenum spacer, 18s with led headlights and brakes. Lowered with tint and in car dvd. Aircon and a few other tricks. Picked it up with less than 135 on clock.

Would do a build thread but find extracting teeth easier than posting pics on this forum

So ive decided to steal the following bits for the ute:

Growler big mouth kit with enclosed pod
Polished 69mm throttle body
10mm (I think) plenum spacer
Insulated leads with heat shields
Multi point spark plugs
Extractor heat shield - friggen bonus as I was worried about my coils getting toasted

Will swap them out and see if the Vy is much worse off and see if the ute has a bit more boogie.

gotta love basically free mods

Edit - this thread needs pics so bad. That s pac is outta place

Got divorced, x wife and darling mother in law ended up with the lot. No house., no possessions and no son. Lost vehicles and all.

Walked away with my ute and what tools I could fit in it.

planning on keeping busy and involving myself in the car scene after years of being someones bitch.

Put the engine back together. Inverted injectors and hid heap of wiring under the plenum.
Installed multi point plugs.
relocated coil pack again.
Replaced lower inlet manifold and up gaskets.
Lost a side skirt
chucked fuel in and she is running better than ever.
Registered and put plates on

tomorrow will be oil change, coolant flush and change and got some penrite 80w140 full synthetic for the r31 diff. Will take it out for a run tomorrow and hope for best

looking at getting a charged buick as a donor car so could have a heap of performance bits to swap soon
