g`day can anyone tell me how to get the error codes out of a 99 vt ss 5.7.(or do i need a scan tool)

a scantool is best that relates directly to error codes listed by holden.

any holden dealer or any ls1 tuner will have a scan tool to read codes, tech2 or efi live read them well. some automatic places also have a scan tool i found one day.
