Just sorted out my replacement motor - $1,000 and freshly built. Bloke runs St. George crankshafts & the story goes that he built it for his own car & his car (with the worn engine) was pinched & never recovered....

Absolute bargain, I'm cheering.

Perfect excuse for some boost.

I beg to differ Richo, oviously depending on the type of boost and the weight of your right foot, you can definately get some good fuel economy :whistling

Sorry did I mention I'm poor? Know anyone that wants a set of polished engine covers?

As in rocker covers? Price?

I paid $150 for them & the retail new for like $350 I think. Only annoying part about them is having to make your own gasket whether it's cork or garret goo based. Got to check what condition they are in after being fitted & removed again...

And like Groundhog Day my IRS cradle is back taking up space in my garage. This time plan to partially. Strip & paint it in some form of stone guard

Will be a good learning experience to start pulling things apart
