RJR wheels (pics?)

these are the RJR wheels i had on over the weekend because the wrong ones were ordered for mine. they did look alright though, but now i've got the right wheels on and looks tougher.
I think these were part of the clearance sale to $2100 (or something) for 19" with tyres

Well they're on. Thought about going to 18" but I decided that I'm not 21 any more and have other things to do with my money and ride quality.

Now to just lower it a little and we're done. For now.

Yeah, went with the 17's...got the Falken Ziex ZE329 235/45/R17 tires. Good deal at $160 each with the wheels. They may not be the heardest wearing tire, but even if I get 25000km out of them with me and my wife driving I'll be happy for that price.

i would recommend getting the 17" over the 18" since 18" wear out fairly fast when compared to the 17"...

Why would 18's wear quicker than 17's??

I have the 18's (now I know they are called Blade! )

and have had them since I got my VY in August 05, and wear seems to be pretty good, was only 80% tread when I first got them and they are on Nexen's, which I've heard are crappy... but 23,000 klms later, still chunky tread... and thats with a LITTLE bit of excess burning...

i got blades on my o3 vy ute. there alright but to many plp have them. its not a good look when everyone has the same rims as you, no originality

hey mate this might help these are mine, blades i think in 18" with 40 profile tyres. they were on the car when i got it. they cost him bout 1600 but he worked at the shop.

My son is looking for 1 of these rims, he hit a gutter and damaged 1, having trouble trying to find them in a shop even looked on ebay. any ideas?

Have a look at my pic of my streeter with 17" x 8" SV8 Genuine rims with Michelin "PPC" 235/45x17 . A really nice looking combo . Probably the best tyre I have ever owned. I got 5 of these rims ex Ebay for $360, $220 freight from Sydney to Fraser Coast Qld by Busfreight, $75 for Chrome nuts & Locknuts & 5 tyres at $275 each fitted,balanced. Vy Supercharged V6 FE2 suspension. They are an outstanding tyre with soft ride & legendary Michelin wear resistance.
