Roof Racks

Hi guys,

I need/want to get some roof racks for my VX sedan, but I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out what I need.. I'm looking on supercheap auto's website, and they have roof racks listed, but then they say that fitting brackets (or whatever they're called) are sold separately.. Does anyone know exactly what I need to be able to attach roof racks to my roof?

You may ask why, and the answer would be that getting roof racks will be cheaper than buying a new car (a ute) so that I could buy things larger than 1.5m from Bunnings without having to ask other people to get it home for me..

I say it will be cheaper, although looking at it, it's not going to he that cheap..

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Rola Roof racks i have, not installed though.

Brackets would be hard to make up

Cost about $100 on ebay second hand

Oh I didn't plan on making my own brackets.. I just don't know what brackets/roof racks combination I would need..

I could probably go into supercheap auto and ask them, but then I'm going to feel like I have to buy them

Supercheap have a small touch screen computer that will show you what parts you need to fit it to your vehicle. You can also use the manufacturer's (Rola, Rhino, etc.) websites to work out what you need too.

Of course I can check the manufacturers website -_-.. Don't know why I didn't think of that!
