Hi
Thanks to those who answered my question regarding the rear engine plate seal.
I have another question for you.
I took my VX SS to my mechanic to get the power steering pump changed which in retrospect I should probably have done myself.
When I picked my car up it idled like a bucket of puss.
When I spoke to the mechanic he said the only thing they did after changing the pump was pressure wash the alternator down to get all the grease off it so that it could breath and he thinks water may have gotten into a faulty coil pack which I think is a crock.
I have air compressed the plugs and leads and any connector I can find but to no avail.
Does anyone out there have any ideas of what might be causing this issue.
It will cruise on 100ks but no use trying to overtake.
Hope someone can help because my mechanic has no idea.
Thanks
