To be honest, I can't tell the difference between normal & sport mode in our VF1.
I wonder if their tune failed to deploy in some way, and the 'box has just reverted to stock? Obviously you've paid for it to be tuned, I'm not saying you shouldn't get 'em to fix it, just hypothesising on what might have happened.
