Rpm gauge

Hey guys I’ve just bought an rpm gauge for my VP and I just need to know how to wire it in as I’m not to sure with wiring if someone could give me a diagram or some helpful tips let me know thanks

Yeah I got a diagram but don’t know what wires go were that probs sounds really dumb but I just can’t see any wires like shown on the diagram if that makes sense

The diagram supplied with the gauge say a certain colour goes to a certain thing...ie, black to earth, white to lights, red to mains power etc etc....

Would they all be the same colours or some different man
