Hi everyone, bit of a problem was hoping someone here could help. Partners VZ Alloytec starting shaking while idling and driving the other day. Got around to checking it today. Thinking it's something to do with cylinder 1. Took coil leads off 1 at a time and when I took 1 off and on there was no difference. Take the other 5 off and the car shakes worse.

Put it down to a faulty spark plug or coil. Changed both and still runs rough. Anyone got any ideas?

Faulty wiring to coil pack or ECU not firing the coil pack.
Faulty injector or wiring to injector or ECU not firing the injector.
Faulty ECU.
Have car scanned for fault codes.

Injector or the connector to it I'd say.

Yep, I’d be looking at the injector next as well. Fuel, spark, compression. The only three things you need for a working (petrol) engine. Spark has been ruled out by replacement so fuel is next on the list and then compression because it’s the hardest to diagnose/rectify.
