le update:

The wizzid, together with the dial gauge turned a bolt and writ down some numbers on a sheet. The lift worked out to be a tad over 300, with the hydraulic lifters it looks like that side of it will be fine. But... apparently the duration at 0.050 is all up the wack, along with a pile of other acronyms. I'll let him post his findings.

The manifold has gone back to Mr. Tig to get the last bits done on it, a plate at the back so we can thread in brass fittings for vacuum, the iac sensor fitting been stuck on, and a slab of alloy on the side so a throttle cable mount can be crafted up.

Getting close now!

yip seems we are safe from coil bind with a little over 60 though coil clearance all up so can stop stressing there.but duration on the other hand is ummm massive LOL 284/[email protected] shes gonna be lumpy and after simming it up on some dyno software should make power all the way to 7500 at some 650+hp :D so springs will be the next purchase and some head porting LOL

Gonna need some decent hardware in the bottom end to make it live at those rpms.

whats an extra 1000rpm from where we normally fuel cut LOL.in all reality stock valvesprings will probably stop it getting anywhere close to 7500.ive never gone any higher than 6500rpm but after seeing the VB live on the limiter on 14psi i dont think the stock gear would give 2 stuffs if it spun to 7000 as long as it was definately never tapping the limiter one way to find out :D
