G'day
I'm building a 4x8 single axle trailer to carry bikes, starting with a rolling frame I bought off a neighbor and modifying to suit. The frame didn't have registration, or a number plate and has no compliance plates or serial numbers of any sort. He couldn't tell me anything about it, as he bought it as it is from a clearing sale.
What I want to know is what is the quickest way to get it registered in SA. I've been reading through all sorts of answers such as Regency roadworthy checks, police inspections, engineer certificates, weighbridge certificates, but nothing conclusive! Transport SA website after an hour of searching proved useless too.
Before I get on to spending 45min on the phone with the RTA and get someone who doesn't know anything tomorrow, I thought I'd ask here
Cheers
