Not sure about SAMs performance but Che (castle hill performance) do good work. They are a sponsor here and run a drag commodore.

There are horror stories about any/all shops if you dig & dig & dig etc. etc. etc... Even SAM's.

GenTech - OK/Good
ESP - OK/Good but only been around long
SAM's - Been in the game for at least 15yrs

Thanks for the replys fellas, just two other things, dose a tune shorten the life of an engine and do I have to get the car retuned after a few years or so. I plan keeping the car for quiet a while. Thanks.

Tune - Not unless the person tunning it knows nothing about LSx engines, that's why go to a shop that has been around for a while... Experience counts.
Return the car - No, if the tune is done right you should never need to take it back. Just service it regularly every 5-7000k and you should be OK.

Hi all ended up getting sams performance to do the tune and otr cai on my ute (auto with L77 engine) With 2.5 kpm cat back exhaust the numbers are
Torque:420.7 ftlb
Horsepower: 342.6 at the wheels
Kw:255 at the wheels
At the end of the day they are only numbers and I am more than happy with how it drives. Customer service was great and would recommend him to anyone. Cheers
