Ended up welding the fish plates myself

Got some new wheels and painted the black they didn't have black in stock

And got a plasma cutter had some fun on a spare chassis

Got my adaptor kit for the 1.6 and some new engine mounts and gear box mounts

Also fitted the body to check clearance when I install the shackles

Not much upward articulation room now...lol.. You going to cut and shunt the front forward a bit or just run bigger bump stops?

I have already chop a bit out of the front

I still need to add another spring to the pack and install the shackles as the springs are currently just sitting against the chassis

Once it's all together I will just extend the bump stops until it doesn't hit the guards

You should look into doing a Dual hilux T case set up. Pretty easy to do. You just get 1 chain driven and 1 gear driven. They bolt straight up to one another. Not much would stop you then.

I had a look into a twin case setup but as its a swb there isn't really enough room
My tail shaft would be extremely short and on a pretty bad angle

I got these for reduction instead just waiting to be installed in the case

Yeah I got a video of it on youtube, more of a slide show really and its only of the cab swap and v 8 conversion.. It was done last year a bit more has been done to it since.

It started off life as an IFS 4Runner and I did much the same as you and did a SAS and lift ect.....
