Screw Plugs

Hi all
have been working on my son's VX Berlina, where the door release handle screws in there are 2 small square plastic plugs. 1 for the door handle 1 for the door trim. Can anyone please tell me how to get these out and also where to purchase new ones. He has screwed and unscrewed them that many times they are worn out and screws wont hold

Mate take a photo and go into your local Holden dealer and show them. They have exploded parts diagrams and probably will be the only place
where you can get them. Maybe you could use a thread tool on them instead?

When reinserting screws into threads in plastics made using a self tapping screw, it is good practice to turn the screw backwards until it drops or clicks into the original thread. Once it ‘drops’ or ‘clicks’, start turning it in the forward direction.

You can get them from any parts store.
Take the old ones with you for a sample to match up, as the aftermarket replacements won't always be the same colour as the originals.
