Seatbelt wont lock in 07 ve

I've had a quick look on here with no luck, not quite sure what to search

Problem is with the drivers side seat belt, i have to hold down the button for it to lock in.
I have a spare seatbelt reciever? but i was just wondering is there anyway to fix it without having to replace?

Don't do a DIY job on a critical safety item mate. Take it to a qualified workshop for inspection and repair.

replace it if its starting to play up you can do it your self its pretty easy or pay someone to do the same thing.
