Second thoughts on my VE SS-V - Any advice?

I think FPV have really made HSV look bad lately. I especially like the GS and GT Falcons with the Supercharged V8's.

Speaking blankly here,

180's and silvia's with 200kw at the motor (stock) at 1350kg beating your 270kw 1800kg SSV, probably a case of power to weight ratio there.

Getting smoked by FG XR6T? I have mates with VE SS/FG XR6T/FG XR8 utes, all manuals, all stock apart from cutting a muffler out. Numerous drags over the past year and a bit have all resulted in hardly ANYTHING between them. Power delivery is about the only thing that separates them...

Depends on the driver, plenty of 12.7-12.8 quarter mile FG's, haven't seen the same times from a stock VE SS.
