If your going to do it go to a panel shop and get it done properly as this needs to go on a car o liner to make sure everything lines up.

I've just been through this myself on my VX i hit a massive pothole on the highway and pulled both strut towers out of alignment as you have done the left hand side was the worse as it had cracks going all the way back to the firewall. The car drove and handled like ****, i took the car to a panel shop here in mackay and got it all fixed up properly they put it on a car o liner and have now welded the strut towers in

I would honestly get this kinda thing fixed professionally, as above mentioned it could be something you could claim on your insurance. Also would think its not cheap to fix. Pannel beaters will put you on the right track

yeah get it done properly. Even though it was originally bonded I'm sure a good suspension shop can weld/glue it back to better than original.
It is nothing they haven't seen before, so just give them a call and they should be able to quote a price over the phone for you. Better a real quote than us guessing.
