series 1 and 2 difference

hi just wondering if v6 vn series 1 heads can be used on a series 2 block
any help greatly appreciated

There is a difference between the heads, but I couldn't tell you what the differences are.

The main difference is the holes in the intake face of the heads for the PCV system. Also different valve springs and I think the rocker bolts changed from 3/8" to 5/16".

I think if you drilled the holes to suit the PCV system it would probably work fine.
