haha SUS.SUV, apart from looking ugly, if you need parking sensors to park an ssv you really dont deserve to be driving one....i can imagine that noise will drive me nuts.....

tinsnips, you make a good point....dont really want to wait for one to be built, but it might give me a bit of time to save some more dosh haha

@SteveHatz The sensors do come in handy when kids etc are around

when theyre learning to drive in my ssv? haha

nah i understand where you are coming from, it's a good point, but ive managed not to reverse into anything (including children haha) without them so i really would prefer if they werent on my rear bumper purely for aesthetic value

if its going to be too much of a hastle though i may just have to accept it and make use of them aye?

sensors are handy for those going from a korean hatch to a SSV wagon. also handy for those who have neck problems or you are trying to see through those monster pillars in the wagon. I love em.

I'm going from a Jap hatch to an SSV, I'll be relying on the sensors for a while methinks!

I wouldn't bother with an aftermarket alarm with tilt sensor unless you will be parking it in a side ally overnight in a seedy area... get a set of HSV lock nuts or two if you are paranoid and just make sure you have your
insurance paid up in full ;)

My mate got a new 2010 ss for $39990 the other day with parking sensors inc.

Ive seen the ssv on car sales with the redline pk inc @ 49990 2010. so without the redline but alowing for a 2011 model.. i would hope you could get one just under 50k...but prob not by much
