Service question, What am I missing out on?

Thanks guys for all of your responces, I'm a bit ashamed to admit that at 41 years of age I did my 1st oil change (thats the sort of stuff aussie blokes are supposed to do) and I feel good about it, and am lookong forward to the nest service on the VT.

Hey Lad, your only a youngster!!!, i'm over flamin' 60, gad, feels like 80 plus! :rip: any way, just a little tip about lookin' after your own set of wheels, I have always found it helpfull to go out in the dark with a good torch and get down and have a good look under the car as well as under the bonnet every so often. It is surprising what you can see as far as leaks, bits rubbing where they shouldn't etc. Keep a detailed maintenance record. A good wheel aligner will give a suspension report re loose bush's, worn joints etc. when you have an alignment done.
