Shaved heads noticible ?

Hey guys just got 40thou off my vy v6 heads, what will I notice ?

What else are you doing to it ? Just shaving the heads ya won't notice much at all I would think.

Not much.
Other than the engine is cleaner, So will run better.

You will notice that your heads are 40 thou shorter.

Unless you have a decent cam, then you may notice something.

Just this week i have put a Stage 2 cam / 15thou of my heads / double row timing chain / new 150# valve springs and right away even with out a tune you can notice the power that i have gained

Thanks for the replys ! Engines just stock from a vy! Engine was bought cheap with a blown head gasket so the wholes things Being re gaskets , carbon removed and minor mods ! Only 120k km
