Transgo has both options in there kit (Drilling extra galleries for full manual)
Mine is a full stage 2 with some re-enforcements to prevent gearbox failure (there wasn't a real need for the re-enforcements).

ohh ok sweet thanks heaps, i wonder how easy they are to install, but it also might pay to get a transmission specialist to install so if anything goes wrong, they might give a warranty on there work.

get it installed by a tranny specialist. I have droped my brothers valvebody on his car 4 times in one day to get the springs in the right order (it's not a VN) and was a costly exercise (buying 4x 4L dextron 3). It's a bugger when working on engine stands which I don't recommend (takes a whole day to do).
I rather pay someone and let them be concern with it.

Stage 3

when i went to repco to get a shift kit, the fella looked through his big catalogue and came to the B&M section, they have 4 kits for the T700

stage 1 for towing
stage 2 for street
stage 3 auto or manual Both for racing

i got stage 3 auto and put it in myself (im 18)
first time it slipped like all hell so i took it apart and found loose bolts:hit:
now it shifts firmly but not what i expected, maybe you have to get new chutch packs to get the full effect.

its also interesting to note that when i was going through the instructions, it was saying things like "leave the spring in for heavy/towing use, but leave it out for street use" that makes me think i got the wrong kit, or they have the same instructions in all the kits and have different components.

The shiftkits stage are all depends on the brand and what application you want but mostly they do the same thing.

Is your car modified at all?
Also how much was the stage three 3 auto?

i've got a VN V6, wouldn't mind getting a shift kit for a nice strong shift
