I also thought it was due in 2013. Even if it was, it still isnt long to wait for the OP.

My information (which has always been reliable) is that the VF will make and end of this year appearance.

Personal opinion is that youd be better off selling your Equipe privately & getting a way better price on it, then shop around for an ss/v(like the silver one above) depending on your budget which would be a way better option than the sv6.

My mate just brought this Equipe wagon today for $35000 drive away I think you've got more money than sense if you trade it in

Especially when the differences between the equipe and sv6 are so minimal.. I can understand if going to a V8 but to stay with a V6 just mod yours and it WILL save you heaps n be a better car..

Thanks for the advice guys, very glad I joint this forums!
After a long consideration I am now going to keep the equipe for another few weeks and see if I really need more power for what i use the car for (mainly city drive) and if I don't I will spend the money on the mods instead to make it more fun to drive as some people here have suggested.

Cheers

It would be a waste of money for insignificant benefits !

Well basically I am not loosing $7,500 in 350kms :). I am only loosing $2,500 for the bad decision in gettng the Equipe :)
New Equipe Wagon is $36,990 on the road and new SV6 Wagon is $41,990 or $42,990 for MY12 on the road ----> $5,000 - $6,000 different. I am now paying $7,500 to upgrade to SV6.

I am not expecting the SV6 to feel like the GTi I was only missing that sporty feeling when driving the Equipe. Btw, the Golf GTi IS NOT as good as what people think :) beside its a small car.

Effectively you paid $2500 to rent an Equipe for a week :/
Cleary you have MUCH more money than sense, you have a perfectly good car, that only falls a few kw's short of the SV6, with the added benefits of a comfortable ride as appose to one that shakes your spine apart.
