i got these 3 inch tailpipes with 3 1/2 inch chrome ends to go on the SS. i have to weld in the j pipes first. should sound loud and hopefully good.

they re loud but no drone at all so far with the small amount of driving ive done with them on the car.

I recently upgraded my 2.5" system to 3". If I had had 3" pipework already I was going to try a set simply because I wanted more noise. Still might buy a set later down the track for powerplay/powercruise etc

yo wait what?! does ur jpipes backfire? at high rpm gear change? coz mine do and i have v6 and people at the db metering place say they r illegal... or are the db levels different for each state?

no they dont backfire at high rpm or gear change but they do burble slowing down changing down.i guess they are illegal as 2 mufflers have been removed from the exhaust and theyre supposed to have 3 mufflers.

no but they r counted as a straight through exhaust thenn annd the j pipes are "mufflers"
