Simple Vt S pack question

My brother has recently gotten himself a 98 s pack. I've read a fair load of information already but just wondering did holden modify the exhaust system at all from the other series?

Reason is it sounds rather sporty and throaty for what should be a stock 6 emotech.

FYI the car is stock standard. No holes in exhaust etc just came back from RWC and so forth.
