FACEBOOK is a good place if you need a laugh.
I had a feeling the comments would get out of hand and seems that not a lot have brains about cars on there.
I was told that the car was a deceased estate and then bought for a track car,
it had the rears taken off and VY ones welded into place.
my rwc tester said it needed a structural integrity test/report to make sure it withstands roll over/impact damage the same as from factory specs.
I have been around commodores for around 15 years or so and have had some that other members on here know of.(hence my name.)
Though this one isn't one of mine I converted.( I let someone else spend the time and money) lol
the people that did the work build race/track cars so they didn't spend much at all as they do it all day long.
the engine I want to get on a dyno as it seems to have some balls about it and sounds great .
I am getting more info on it and will at some stage do the interior and other bits to it,

I managed to polish the headlights with the turtle product.Turned out better than i thought it would.
I got another front bumper, new driving lights for it.A Bob tail for the boot. A rear window spoiler and new Dvd gps head unit.
I have only managed to do so far is put the Bob tail on. i may leave it as it is, as it sort of matched the texture and colour of the front lower middle section of the front bumper.
Bad pictues i know

Nice man wouldn't think it was a VT until you hoped in or pop the hood haha, one thing I like about the utes is can turn a VU into a VY easier then a sedan haha.

Just picked the SS rear bar up tonight and I have orded the reverse sensor kit, hopefully I can paint it up over the weekend and put it on to match the front. so the car is not miss matched anymore on the outside.

This is begging for a stroker kit. It might actually be a factory stroked motor.
Someone with more 5.0 knowledge would know.

Coming along nicely.
