Pajero LWB Wagon, Power/economy what's that ???
14.1km per litre = 7.09 litres per 100km or just on 40mpg

11.89km per litre = 8.41 litres per 100km or 33.7mpg

7.04 km per litre = 14.2 litres per 100km or 20mpg

In Australia our gallon is 4.54609 litres, US gallon is 3.785 litres.

33.7mpg would be correct if the US gallon was used.

vl berlina wagon 6cyl
all much better than my old HR powerglide that did 22 mpg at best on a long trip, and it was a good and dirty 3 litre 186

BTW the RB 30 is supposed to be very smooth, but underway, my old 186 in the HR seemed as smooth

The only difference between s3 and other model vl/ r31 skylines is that the s3 has a kooky fully electronic auto gearbox that shifts hard but is quite fragile. I have been going for economy lately so I have been using power button in at all times (overdrive/economy) and trying to not let the box kick down a gear when accellerating (overdrive will not let the box change gears as readily as powermode does) and in trying this I can acheive 400-450 a tank when I used to get 250-300 a tank when in power mode and with a kickdown happy right foot. So less gear changes equals slightly better economy.

I don't know how it even runs like that:D

He definately needs to check for fuel leaks on each injector, at the rail, and at all clamps that connect the lines. could be a broken/disconnected return fuel line. Could be a dead O2 sensor. Could be a dead coolant temp sensor. could be a dead pressure regulator. could be a faulty ecu.

100km's a tank geez it must be pumping black smoke and fuel out of the exhaust.
