Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has had similar things happen.

I'm hoping its just a couple gear change errors i have done. I have a ve ss ute series one in manual. Had it for about 4 months and everythings been pretty sweet except the other day i was giving it a bit in second and went to change to third and i swear it went into 1st because the revs went up hard and the car slowed down heaps. Its happened twice now. But i dont think it would be that easy to get into 1st at 80 or so k's

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :)

It's not strange mate, it's just the crud gearbox these things come with as standard.

If you can , get a Ripshift installed. Will help a lot.

Cheers.

Its a shortshifter, decreaseing the throw between gears. It also has a nifty feature to help get into 3rd quicker/better.
