Misfiring hey.....

Try the spark plugs if you have platinum ones. My sons twin-cam Corolla with the 4A-GE motor was misfiring one one or two cylinders...we checked the timing, we checked the throttle body, we checked everything, and then found out that platinum plugs, while lasting a very very long time, can fail suddenly and without warning and yet still look perfectly "normal". After taking a deep breath and deciding on buying some new ones ($28 each, Jesus H Christ on a bike!!!!) the problem went away like it never existed. Shame they are so expensive to "experiment" with though, if that isn't the problem.

Just a thought anyway.

Fantastic paint job, hard to believe you can do that at home. Very nice color too! I'll go ahead and say it even if no-one else will...that model is amongst my favorite Mazda coupe body shapes...my most favorite is the tiny little R-100 Rotary...

thanks a lot mate :D its nice to hear that people like my work.

yeah if a persons willing to spend the time in the prep work, a panelshop finish is possible!.

the old addage ' a paintjob is only as good as the prep work ' is so very true.
but technology has come a long way, so i like to give that a twist...

'a paintjob is only half as good as the prep work. the other 50% is your beer fridge'

PLEASE, IF YOUR INSPIRED TO PAINT YOUR CAR. DONT BE AFRAID! GO AHEAD AND GIVE IT A GO! READ MY DIY GUIDE IN THE GENERAL SECTION.

i did nothing different on my car to what i wrote down there. give it a shot!
i'll be happy to lend a hand if your a local (on a scotch and coke barter system :p ), and im on here everyday for those who'd like a bit of advice via pm's
