I think u have to change the ignition barrel for a 2nd hand. Im on the goldcoast. At the moment I reboot the Ecu every 3 weeks.
I see, i’ll have to look more into it
Spewin, let me know how you go i’d be interested to see if a swap of the ECU does the trick.
I’m just using a speedo app on my phone at the moment hahaha
Appreciate the info thanks mate

Is your car laggy when it's on? I find it hard changing gears. I just take the earth lead off over night fix for apx 3 weeks

I have noticed that sometimes when i depress the accelerator pedal there is a delay between depressing the pedal and the car accelerating (also the car sometimes feels like it’s shuddering while i have the accelerator depressed) . I’ve also noticed that sometimes the car will jerk a few times while accelerating in 1st gear.
I’ve just recently cleared the code with an OBD2 scanner and the speedo has been working fine the past 4 days. I just don’t know how long it’ll last because i’ve done this in the past and the issue presents itself again about a week or 2 later

I might give that a crack and see how I go. Where is the ECU earth located and how long do you leave it disconnected for before re-connecting?

It's doing my head in. I don't like it when I can't solve things.

Yeah, very frustrating
I reckon i’ve been putting up with it on and off for a year, determined to find a fix and get it sorted finally
