I have noticed that sometimes when i depress the accelerator pedal there is a delay between depressing the pedal and the car accelerating (also the car sometimes feels like it’s shuddering while i have the accelerator depressed) . I’ve also noticed that sometimes the car will jerk a few times while accelerating in 1st gear.
I’ve just recently cleared the code with an OBD2 scanner and the speedo has been working fine the past 4 days. I just don’t know how long it’ll last because i’ve done this in the past and the issue presents itself again about a week or 2 later

If I reboot the Ecu the best I have got is 5 weeks. Just by disconneting the earth.
I might give that a crack and see how I go. Where is the ECU earth located and how long do you leave it disconnected for before re-connecting?If I reboot the Ecu the best I have got is 5 weeks. Just by disconneting the earth.

No worries,Just disconnect the earth lead. I do it overnight. U will find its very responsive when u do it.
I will do that tonight and see how I go

Yeah, very frustratingIt's doing my head in. I don't like it when I can't solve things.
I reckon i’ve been putting up with it on and off for a year, determined to find a fix and get it sorted finally
