I did mine myself, i bought every tool i need and all the paint. Spent between 2 and 300.
Definately a lot of work though (which explains the $800 to $2000 smooth is talking about)

How did you did that, what tools v need to buy, I am planing to buy a bodykit and just wondering how much it will cost for the painting,

All i bought was a second hand air compressor, brand new air hose and a brand new spray gun. A heap of sand paper, primer, paint, clear and thinner. That's about it. You're pretty much exactly where i was at 2 months ago, I do not regret it at all.

yea i loved it, i can look on it and feel good that i did it. i think maybe 300-400 actually. i remember the paint shop receipt was $170

Totally agree - When i was getting my kit sprayed i was told anywhere from $600 - $1500 depending on the place. Shop around and you'll be surprised how much you can save

-i don't suggest painting it yourself, leave it to the pros - you can always pick the backyard jobs.
