you can get some cheap devilbiss guns anywhere from 500 to 800 that doo a good job.. thats all my brother in law uses at the paint shop... also concider iwata, they also give a pretty decent job and are some what cheaper than devilbiss.

Devilbis are the goods. I'd have gone with the GTi, purely because I know how they go, but you get the feel for anything really. Iwata W77's or WB70's are good guns for the price too.

just spray etch primer.. beautiful. waiting for it to flash then will do red. metallic in about 2 hours. will see but at this stage i LOVE it.

I guess you get what you pay for aye, here my gun i use at work, sex spec Its a Sata Jet 3000 Chip foose limited Edition with a 1.3 nozzle, does fine for base & clear/top coat

bit late but i have the devilbiss gti (superceeded by the gti pro which is better again) and while its good and it was great when it was released theres better guns out there now.
the iwata w700 supernova? is a top gun, sprays better than anything ive ever used and its about $760+ from preston motors.
puts on base and clear coats better than you could ever imagine, i fell in love in about 3 strokes
for someone like yourself id recommend the iwata w400 for about half that price, it puts on metallics better than my gti but i cant clear and top coat with the stupid thing...
